Hi, my dear friends! Today I am going to show you how to make a simple Tripwire Alarm System for door using a transistor. It’s very easy to make so you can easily make this tripwire alarm system in your home. It can be used the alarm for security. To use it, tie a thin copper wire to the door, then connect this Tripwire Alarm System to copper wire. If someone opens the door you will know it. This tripwire alarm will be turned on when the wire is cut. This alarm will help you to guard your house, shop and other things. So friends if you want to know how to make a simple Tripwire Alarm System follow my instructions.

The components you will require for making this Tripwire Alarm System:

  • IRF540N Mosfet Transistor
  • 47k Resistor
  • Buzzer
  • 9v Battery
  • 9v Battery Connector
  • Wire

 

Steps to make a Tripwire Alarm System.

Step 1: Firstly bend the Gate and Source pin of the IRF540N MOSFET transistor as shown below.

Step 2: Take two small pieces of wire then connect one wire to the negative of the 9v battery connector and another wire to the 47k resistor as shown below.

Step 3: Now you have to solder them connected both ends. 9v battery connector wire to Source and 47k resistor wire to Gate pin of the IRF540N MOSFET transistor as shown below.

Step 4: Solder negative of the buzzer wire to Drain pin of the IRF540N MOSFET transistor and positive of the buzzer wire to another side of the 47k resistor and positive of the 9v battery connector wire as shown below.

Step 5: Attach the 9v battery to 9v battery connector as shown below.

Step 6: Circuit construction completed. Now connect both ends of the remaining two wires, this circuit will be turned on when the remaining wire is cut as shown below.
